About me
My name is Kathy Francis. I am a Chartered Physiotherapist (MCSP, SRP) with a specialist interest in lower limb injuries and conditions. I have a BSc in Physiotherapy and HCPC Registered. I also have a Diploma in Injection Therapy and qualified in Acupuncture. I am fully qualified in the assessment and fitting of Medi Orthopaedic Knee Braces.
I am a health care provider for all major insurance companies including BUPA, AXA, CIGNA, AVIVA, Vitality, WPA, and Healix.
My services to you
My special interests are in injuries or pre and post-op conditions relating to the hip, knee, ankle to restore normal lower limb function.
I have a strong belief in using evidence-based practice to direct my treatment approaches by manual therapy, Acupuncture and exercise-based rehabilitation.
At the New College Sports Centre, I have a separate treatment room and have full use of the gym facilities for your treatment and rehabilitation.
The New College Sports Centre can also offer you separate continued gym membership or Pay as you Go.

A little more about me
I am Kathy Francis and have worked as a Physio in the NHS since qualifying in 1998, alongside working in private practice since 2002 in Swindon. I started my own business in 2015.
For the last 11 years, I have been a Clinical Specialist in lower limb injuries and pre and post-operativ rehabilitation, especially in hips and knees.
I've spent 6 years as Head Physiotherapist at Swindon Town Football Club (STFC) Academy and I am currently Head Physiotherapist at Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts.
